Pro Audio Headphone Tests

Perceptual tests for channel balance, phantom center, phase, driver behavior and spatial imaging.

Lower your volume before starting. Sweeps and low-frequency tests should be comfortable, never loud.

Stereo balance & phantom center

Left and Right should stay isolated. Center should form one stable image in the middle of your head, not two separate sounds.

Phase & polarity

In phase should sound focused and centered. Out of phase should feel wider, hollow or diffuse.

Driver & frequency check

The sweep should stay clean and continuous. Bass-Shaker is designed to reveal rattles, buzzing or clicks in the drivers.

360° spatial imaging

A soft noise source circles your head. Listen for smooth movement without jumps, dead zones or sudden level changes.

Bluetooth latency is measured separately in the Delay tab with the bouncing-ball calibration.
