Install a text-to-speech voice

CamMicGo uses the voices installed by your operating system. A website cannot install a system voice for you, but it can detect whether a compatible voice is available and show the right setup steps.

Voice pack missing or not speaking?

CamMicGo uses voices exposed by your operating system. If a language is missing, install or enable its system voice, then reload the browser.

Samsung Galaxy

Samsung TTS voice availability varies by Galaxy model, One UI / Android version and Samsung TTS version. The official Samsung path is the safest option.

  1. 1Open Settings > General management > Text-to-speech.
  2. 2Next to Preferred engine (Samsung Text-to-speech), tap the gear icon.
  3. 3Tap Install voice data.
  4. 4Find the required language and tap its download icon.
  5. 5Return to Text-to-speech, select the language and use Play to verify it.

Some languages may only appear after a system, One UI or Samsung TTS update. Samsung does not publish one universal Android-version cutoff for every language.

Advanced fallback: APKMirror

Only consider a manually downloaded Samsung TTS voice package if the language is absent from Samsung’s official list. Installing APK files from outside an app store carries security risk. Verify the publisher, package and version carefully and prefer Samsung’s built-in updater whenever possible.

If it still does not speak

  • • Confirm the language appears in the operating system’s TTS settings.
  • • Use the operating system’s Play / sample button first. If that fails, the issue is outside the browser.
  • • Close and reopen the browser after installing a new voice.
  • • Update the browser, operating system and TTS engine.
  • • On Android, try another installed TTS engine if the manufacturer engine does not provide the language.
